Today, the EU proposed a package of standardized mechanisms for companies to report their environmental and social impact. These measures aim to classify green investments in order to cut down on “greenwashing” from companies making murky “sustainability” claims. In the future, this could lead to standard sustainability disclosures alongside financial ones.

An internal Facebook email, accidentally sent to (my little home country's) Belgium-based Data News, has revealed its strategy for dealing with the leaking of account details from 533 million users.
It suggests the social network expected more such incidents and was planning to frame it as an industry problem that was a normal occurrence.
